CBRC has been operating the"Blue Protein : Protein Structure Analysis Computer System" (eServer Blue Gene Solution, 4 racks) since February 2005. Recently we obtained the 8th position in the list of world's fastest supercomputers of June 2005 version (see www.top500.org). The Blue Protein system successfully marked 18.2 Tflops in Linpack benchmark test, while its theoretical peak performance is about 23 Tflops.
